Fairtrade Action Group
On 23rd July 2010, Ox Close Primary School was recognised as a ‘Fairtrade School’ for the second year running.

Eco Action Group
In 2009, in recognition of the work of our Eco Action Group, Ox Close Primary School achieved the Eco Schools Silver Award.During 2009-10, our Eco Action Group were very busy raising awareness of a range of eco issues.

Our School Travel Planning Action Group promote a range of annual activities which are aimed at help us progress towards achieving our school travel planning objectives.

School Nutrition Action Group
The School Nutrition Action Group meet on a regular basis and have been already been responsible for a number of key improvements. Since Taylor Shaw took over our school meal production, the School Nutrition Action Group have also been reviewing our new menus.

Anti-bullying Action Group
In April 2008, Ox Close was delighted to be awarded the Anti-Bullying Accreditation Kitemark, in celebration of work done to raise awareness and reduce incidents of bullying at our school. The Anti-Bullying Action Group is one of our most active groups

Disability Equality Action Group
Our Disability Equality Action Group, including staff, governors, parents and pupils, meet on a regular basis. Previously, the group was responsible for the development of a disability equality scheme and access plan for Ox Close.
